Where is the Delete Button on a Chromebook?
If you’re using a Chromebook, you might be wondering where the delete key is located. The delete key is the button that lets you delete data from a document. This is usually found on the right side of the keyboard, above the period key. Pressing this key will remove all the text in your current document. If you want to re-write a file, you can press CTRL + ALT + Backspace. The SHIFT key will erase previous data in an autofill form. If you’re not sure where to find the Delete key, try logging in to your Chromebook using a different computer.
Another option for finding the Delete button is to use the keyboard shortcuts. Generally, you can delete a paragraph by holding down the FN key and deleting that area. If you want to delete a whole paragraph, you can select that area and hit the Delete key. You can also highlight the area and then choose the corresponding menu. You should see a minus sign next to the Delete key.
In the same manner, you can find the Delete key on a Chromebook. The Delete key functions like the backspace key on a computer, but is not actually located on a Chromebook. Instead, you can use the FN key to perform a forward deletion of the selected text. To make the delete action even quicker, you can press the FN key with the Alt key.
The Delete button is not present on the Chromebook. In Windows computers, the Delete key works as the backspace key, but on a Chromebook, it acts as the Delete key when you press the FN key. While the FN key works like the Delete keys on a computer, it isn’t available on a Chromebook. However, you can use the Alt+Backspace key to remove words.
Despite the lack of a dedicated Delete key on a Chromebook, you can make use of the alt+backspace key to perform the same action. The Delete key will let you erase the character that is on the left side of your cursor. By default, the Delete key is the ‘deletes’ key. If you want to delete text, simply press Alt+backspace.
On a Chromebook, the Delete key is in the top-right corner of the screen. Normally, this function is used to delete items. If you want to delete a paragraph, hold down the FN key and then press the Delete key. If you have a chromebook with an FN key, the FN key will do the same thing. In other words, the Delete key on a Chromebook is the backspace icon.
